Our knife sharpener is ideal for ONYX COOKWARE™ knives (HRC 64) and our stainless steel knives made of 5Cr15MoV steel (HRC 58). They are easy to sharpen – even for beginners – and perfect for both new knife owners and those who want to learn to sharpen on their own.

Knives should be sharpened at an angle of 13° on each side or an angle of 26° when sharpening both sides simultaneously.

Important things to remember:

  • Clean the knife thoroughly before sharpening.
  • Keep the knife straight and stable during sharpening.
  • Sharpen when the blade feels uneven or loses its sharpness.
  • Place the sharpener on a flat surface.
  • Guide the knife smoothly without pressing – let the sharpener do the work.
